The Groundwater Resources Association
invites you to submit abstracts for its 13th Annual Meeting
& Conference, to be held in Sonoma County, CA on September
23-24, 2004. Abstract subject areas are listed in the adjacent
box.
Abstracts for oral and poster presentations are limited to
a maximum of one page and should include a title, author's
name and affiliation, contact information and subject area
(see adjacent list). Click

policy and formatting requirements. Abstracts are due
April 30, 2004. Submit abstract and submittal form by email

GRA's Annual Meeting and Conference serves as a forum for
groundwater industry professionals to:
- Interact, network, and discuss current
challenges and issues, and groundwater research needs
- Meet in GRA Committees to discuss
current and emerging groundwater issues and plan organization
activities
GRA is working with several affiliate
organizations as cooperators of the conference, including
the US Geological Survey, California Department of Water Resources,
State Water Resources Control Board, Association of California
Water Agencies, Water Education Foundation, National Ground
Water Association, and International Association of Hydrogeologists.
Annual Meeting & Highlights: The GRA Annual Meeting
Committee is developing this year's program to address the
broad spectrum of California's groundwater resource, contamination,
and reuse integration issues with oral and poster presentations.
Two days of General and Concurrent Sessions will provide up-to-date
technical and policy presentations on current and future challenges
for groundwater resource management and contaminant remediation.
Networking highlights include: the President's Reception;
poster session; Awards &Annual Meeting Luncheon; field trip
in the local area to see hydrogeologic points of interest
and groundwater management activities; GRA Committee meetings,
and a pre-Conference golf tournament.
Location: The GRA Annual Meeting and Conference will
be held at the DoubleTree Hotel Sonoma Wine Country in Rohnert
Park, Sonoma County, California. The newly renovated, mission
style hotel is surrounded by two18- hole golf courses, close
to many Sonoma and Napa County wineries, and just 30 miles
from Bodega Bay!
GRA Presentation Policy: Abstract submitters whose
abstracts are selected for presentation agree to prepare and
submit a presentation or other supporting literature, paper
or information by September 1, 2004. Authors also agree that
the information will be available for subsequent posting on
the GRA Web site. Submitters who do not provide their presentation
information on time may be replaced by an alternate. 2004

advocacy. GRA's mission is resource management that protects
and improves groundwater through education and technical leadership.
GRA meets its mission by facilitating discussion forums, including
seminars, workshops, and Annual and Branch meetings.
