| Mission/Objectives: GRA publishes HydroVisions a quarterly newsletter that brings together news, technical papers, legislative developments, and upcoming events of interest to the groundwater community. GRA also communicates to members and other interested individuals in the groundwater community via email and other broadcasts for events, legislative alerts, and other timely news items and links. GRA also has created and maintains a website, which includes organization news, events, contacts, membership information, Branch news, links, and past publications. The mission of the Communications Committee is to direct the implementation of, and provide oversight of, the organization’s communications activities. Oversight includes finding capable individuals to implement the activities and ensuring that these activities are completed in a timely, cost-effective, and quality manner and that communications are consistent with GRA’s mission and policies. The Committee also looks for new and better ways for GRA to communicate with the groundwater community and working in concert with the Board and the Executive Committee, scopes, costs, and implements new communications initiatives. |
