 The Groundwater Resources Association of California (GRA) is pleased to present this follow-on symposium to the well-received inaugural Dense Nonaqueous Phase Liquid (DNAPL) Source Zone Characterization and Remediation Symposium in December 2005. Like its predecessor, DNAPL-2 will focus on the technical and regulatory challenges faced by professionals involved with characterizing and remediating DNAPL source zones. Experts from academia, regulatory agencies, consulting, and industry will participate in moderated speaker and poster sessions. The combination of invited speakers and experts from these key areas make this an important event for all professionals involved in decision-making on DNAPL projects. Confirmed speakers include:

Student Paper Competition
All student poster and oral presentations at the Symposium will be considered in the student paper competition. One abstract submitted by a student will be selected to receive free registration and travel assistance to the Symposium; selection will be based on technical merit. In addition, one student poster or oral presentation will be awarded a $150 cash prize during the Symposium. Competition results will be announced during lunch on November 15.
