Aqui-Ver, Inc.

Groundwater Professional -  All Levels

Description: AQUI-VER, INC. (AVI) is looking for self-starters to join our small team of technical groundwater professionals in Southern California and Park City, Utah.  We are looking for professionals at all experience levels to fill positions opening in the next one to six months.

About AVI:
Our small firm is known for unique problem solving skills in hydrogeology, water resources, and related areas of expertise.  AVI specializes in quantitative analysis of hydrogeologic and environmental problems, including design of remediation systems, contaminant transport evaluations, environmental risk quantification, and other related services.  We are recognized for our unique science capabilities and strict adherence to a quality work and science ethic.  We are a small but growing company with advancement opportunities for the business minded entrepreneur.  This is a unique opportunity to join us on the ground-floor of our company growth.  AVI offers above-standard salary and benefits, flexible scheduling, and other unique perks that larger companies cannot compete with.  Contact us to find out more!

Duties:
Successful candidates will evaluate, design, and implement leading edge assessment and remediation programs that emphasize site mitigation, property utilization, redevelopment, and maximization/protection of our water resources.
qualifications: Qualifications and Core Attributes:
Typically, an AVI professional will hold a BS or MS degree in geology, engineering, or the sciences. However, self-starters with other educational backgrounds who exhibit a strong desire and ability to learn are encouraged to pursue a professional position with AVI.

Perhaps more importantly, candidates should be entrepreneurial and possess the attributes to become a strong professional consultant (team player, eagerness to learn and grow, self starter that takes initiative, and has a client service mentality).  All AVI professionals possess a vigilant attention to detail and quality control - the ability to identify and communicate discrepancies, missing information, or other hurdles to task completion.   AVI professionals possess or are able to develop strong technical writing and communication skills.  AVI professionals have the desire and ability to perform tasks on time, accurately, and within budget and possess the ability to identify and communicate circumstances that hinder such achievement.  Beyond formal education, the AVI professional is expected to continually enhance their ability to solve technical problems by referring to company, on-line, or other resources.

Do you believe there are fundamental flaws in the industry-standard consulting business model?  Are you tired of worrying more about your billable-hour goal and doing "what is best for the firm" instead of focusing on providing cost-effective solutions to your client's environmental problems?  Is your career path influenced more by supporting your bosses' success than by growing in areas of your professional interests?  Are you a talented professional that feels your compensation is influenced more by back-room politics that by your real and measurable contributions?   If your answer is yes to any of these questions and you believe there is a better way, then you are probably a perfect fit for our team.

To Apply: Interested parties should submit a letter-of-interest and resume to Ms. Katherine Behr at kbehr@aquiver.com
