Exam Announcement The Department of Toxic Substances Control is offering an open exam for the Hazardous Substances Engineering Geologist series. The final filing date will be in October, 1996. The engineering geologist at all levels applies scientific and engineering geology methods and principles in the performance of assigned tasks, that include: evaluating geologic data, reports, and professional papers; appraising hydrologic, geologic and geochemical data to characterize the occurrence and migration of contaminants; preparing technical reports and memoranda, public presentations on scientific investigations and findings; and do other related work. Salary range is $2868-4702 per month plus benefits and is commensurate with education and experience. |
