Groundwater Resources Associations GRAs Seventh Annual Meeting will be held in northern California at the Walnut Creek Marriott Hotel, in Walnut Creek, California on Thursday and Friday, October 22 and 23, 1998. The theme for our Annual Meeting is California Groundwater 2000+ Efficient and Effective Usage. The San Francisco Branch is hosting the two day event which will consist of Groundwater Resources and Environmental presentations. Some of the topics to be discussed are as follows: Implications of Impacted Groundwater Discharging into Surface Water Lawrence Livermore National Labs Research on VOCs and other Topics Reclaimed Water Issues CALFED Bay-Delta Program Examined and Discussed Modeling of Subsurface Flow and Percolating Groundwater MTBE and Perchlorate Update Brownfields Examined Examining Porter CologneÉWill It Carry Us Into 2000+ In addition to the two day event, the San Francisco Branch will be having a Field Trip on Saturday, October 23, 1998.
