CONFERENCE INFORMATION:

GRA is pleased to again host a one-day symposium focused exclusively on the assessment and remediation of chemical releases from dry cleaner sites.  This symposium has been one of GRA's most popular events and again promises to be a block-buster!

Much has happened since this popular symposium was last held in 2012.  There are new high-resolution site characterization (HRSC) technologies for mapping chlorinated solvent DNAPL in the subsurface, new approaches and technologies for assessing the risk of vapor intrusion (VI) at former dry cleaner sites, and new technologies and requirements for assessing the role of leaking sewer lines and other man-made conduits in spreading subsurface contamination.  Perhaps the most important recent development in California is the establishment of a new funding mechanism, the California Site Cleanup Subaccount Program (SCAP), for funding assessments and cleanup of chemical releases, including dry cleaner sites in California!

Speakers from industry, academia and the regulatory community have been invited to give never-before-heard presentations -- including successful case studies -- on the following topics:
