PRESENTATION:

MacNicholl’s presentation will be focused on groundwater restoration projects at both the Chico Central Plume Site, Chico, CA and Aerojet Area 40, Sacramento, CA.  The presentation will cover project overviews, treatment technologies, stakeholder coordination, and remedy efficacy.

SPEAKER BIO:

Peter MacNicholl is a Hazardous Substances Engineer with the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) in the National Priorities List (NPL) Unit’s Cleanup Program in the Sacramento Office.  He graduated from Chico State University with Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2001 and obtained his Professional license in Mechanical Engineering in 2006. He started with DTSC shortly after graduation, working in the Federal Facilities Unit on open military bases. During the last 17 years, MacNicholl has managed complex and challenging sites that includes many National Priorities List Superfund Sites, such as the Defense Distribution Depot San Joaquin - Sharpe and Tracy facilities, San Gabriel Valley - Puente Valley and Baldwin Park, and Aerojet Rocketdyne.
