Scheduling Notes
Technical sessions will run from 8:30am to 12:30pm each day of the event. The Virtual Exhibit Hall will be available for attendees to explore and make contact with exhibitors for the entirety of the event. If you are signed up for a booth and are interested in holding a mini-session or product demo, please contact Sarah for details at serck@grac.org.

Virtual Exhibits
Yes, we’ll have Virtual Exhibit Booths! Virtual Exhibitors will be provided with a link to digitally set-up your booth to your liking. Your online booth can contain videos, downloadable assets (such as Whitepapers or .pdf
brochures), photos and graphics, links to your own website or content, contests and games, the ability to chat with visitors one-on-one and export info on who visited your booth. Want to add a demo of your products or services? Host a mini session in your booth!
Not all features available to all levels of Virtual Exhibitor, please review the specific features and benefits for each level carefully.

MAINTAINING YOUR ENERGY LEVELS AT THE WGC
GRA has been incorporating wellness into our events and activities for several years and COVID won’t change that one bit! We are happy to announce the third annual Darcy Dash 5k Walk/Run – virtual edition, along with a return of the scientific 7-minute workout at our morning breaks, healthy conference lunch, and new this year – Tour de GRA – a cycling and mountain biking leaderboard competition.
Third Annual Darcy Dash Virtual 5k
Keep your feet as awake as your brain at the WGC, join us for the 3rd Annual Darcy Dash 5k! Celebrate daybreak and shake off the night by meeting colleagues for an early morning dash through your neighborhood. Run, walk or crawl 5k with us Wednesday morning, September 16th at 6:30am. We will have a live Zoom audio line for folks open that want to chat while at a cruise-party pace. Post photos from your run and a screenshot from your tracker at the end of your route #GRADarcyDash!
Scientific 7-Minute Workout
Our morning breaks will start with an app facilitated “Scientific 7-Minute Workout”. There are 12 stretches involved so clear a space for plank and push-ups! The “Scientific 7-Minute Workout” has been lauded in the New York Times and scientific journals as a way to achieve many of the fitness benefits of prolonged endurance training but in much less time. EKI’s employees perform the 7-minute workout communally twice a day and welcome all of you in doing the work out now with Anona Dutton, EKI’s Director of Water Resources.
Conference Lunch on GRA
We’ve done away with rubber chicken and we are keeping it that way! Thanks to some fabulous corporate sponsors, we are able to provide conference attendees with their lunch of choice on one of the conference days. Don’t worry about warming up leftovers, use your favorite delivery app and the code sent out with your registration to order delicious conference lunch delivery to your door.
Tour de GRA Cycling Competition
The cycling competition will run the length of the WGC, starting at 12am on the 14th and lasting through noon on the 17th. We will have a posted leaderboard with categories such as number of groundwater basins traversed, total distance, and total elevation. You can enter as road, stationary or mountain. We will facilitate photo sharing through our social media channels with the hashtag #WGCtourdeGRA.
VIRTUAL NETWORKING
In addition to the chat rooms, exhibit hall and networking lounge, GRA is excited to host our President’s reception happy hour on Monday, September 14th 4:30-6pm and continue with the tradition of Wednesday night karoke!
President’s Reception Happy Hour
Starting at 4pm - 30 minutes prior to the President’s Reception – we will have a drink mixing tutorial video lead by our conference chair R.T. and filmed at a bar in Hollywood, California. You can choose to make one of three GRA cocktails (or mocktails!) and our bartender will lead a you-tube style "how it’s made" to help you prep for the reception from 4:30-6pm.
At 4:30pm we’ll open the zoom link for our hosted happy hour with an introduction from our GRA President, Abigail Madrone. We’ll then utilize smaller group breakout rooms to meet the GRA leadership and network with colleagues.
Live Virtual Karaoke
It wouldn’t be the WGC without bar karaoke at 8pm on a Wednesday. So with great vulnerability and risk to our dog’s ears – we are bringing the brave souls together for virtual karaoke. We will use an app to facilitate the karaoke party which will be hosted by none other than our Karaoke King, Vince Vancil with Pace Analytical. So perfect your GRA cocktail or mocktail and plan to join us on Wednesday night!
