Bio:

Rob Gailey has been a practicing hydrogeologist since 1985 and works as a consultant (R. M. Gailey Consulting Hydrogeologist PC). His work, involving both water supply and contaminant hydrogeology, ranges from performing field investigations and quantitative analyses to regulatory negotiations and expert witness engagements. Rob is licensed in California as a Professional Geologist and Certified Hydrogeologist. He has been a member of GRA since 2004 and a member of NGWA since 1986. Rob earned a B.S. in Geology/Biology from Brown University, an M.S. in Applied Hydrogeology from Stanford University, an M.B.A. from University of California Berkeley and a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UC Davis. While at UC Davis, he conducted research on sustainable groundwater management through the Center for Watershed Sciences as well as the UC Water Security and Sustainable Research Initiative. Rob has benefited greatly from his involvement with GRA over the years and seeks to support the organization through board service.
