Paul Dorey

Career Highlights

Mr. Dorey has served on the Board of Directors since December 2006. He represents Division 3, which encompasses central and northeast Vista and unincorporated areas of the county of San Diego.

Mr. Dorey, who retired from the Vista Irrigation District in 2004 after nearly 33 years of service, has served as the Chair of the District’s Warner Ranch, water sustainability and public affairs committees and as the District’s representative on the Upper San Luis Rey Watershed Authority and Lower San Luis Rey Watershed Council. He has also been actively involved with the Association of California Water Agencies/Joint Powers Insurance Authority and the Groundwater Resources Association, which he helped form in 1992.
