R.T. Van Valer

Bio:

R.T. Van Valer recently retired from the Los Angeles based, Roscoe Moss Company, a leading manufacturer of water well casing, screen, and water transmission pipe . He began his career with the company in 2010 as the Product Manager for the Rossum Sand Tester division. In 2014, he added Director of Human Resources to his responsibilities. With GRA, R.T. served as Bookkeeper (2011-14), Treasurer (2015-19), Secretary (2019), Vice President(2020-21) and now President. He has also served on many committees including his current positions on the Executive, Finance, and EEA, and was the Chair of the 1st and 3rd Annual Western Groundwater Congresses. R.T. also coaches varsity basketball at his alma mater La Canada High School, where he has enjoyed much success, coaching two undefeated teams, and was an assistant coach for the CIF championship teams in 2011 and 2019.
